Custom SMTP

What this integration does

Send through any SMTP server you control. The connection is verified before it is saved.

Prerequisites

  • SMTP host, port, username and password
  • A from-address on a domain you control

Step-by-step connection

  1. Go to Settings → Sending and open the SMTP form.
  2. Enter host, port, TLS, username, password and from-address.
  3. Save — Runline authenticates before storing the credentials.

What data syncs

Pull (into Runline)
  • Nothing
Push (out of Runline)
  • Approved emails sent over your SMTP connection
Two-way / notes On connect, Runline checks your domain’s SPF, DKIM and DMARC and shows a green/red status per record with a link to fix any that are missing.

Troubleshooting

  • “Could not connect” → check host/port/TLS and credentials.
  • Low deliverability → fix any red SPF/DKIM/DMARC records.

Disconnect

Settings → Sending → Disconnect sender.
