Custom IMAP

What this integration does

Poll any IMAP mailbox for replies every few minutes — works with ProtonMail Bridge, Zoho Mail, or your own server.

Prerequisites

  • IMAP host, port, username, password
  • SSL/TLS setting for your server

Step-by-step connection

  1. Go to Settings → Reply inbox and open the IMAP form.
  2. Enter host, port, TLS, username and password.
  3. Save — Runline verifies the mailbox is reachable before storing.

What data syncs

Pull (into Runline)
  • New messages since a UID high-water cursor, matched to campaigns by threading and classified
Push (out of Runline)
  • Nothing

Troubleshooting

  • “Could not connect” → check host/port/TLS and credentials.
  • Duplicate-safe: re-scans never double-ingest the same message.

Disconnect

Settings → Reply inbox → Disconnect inbox.
